Ruth Blomenthal

Ruth  Blumenthal was born September 29, 1920 in St. Albans, Vt.  She was predeceased by her husband, Sidney Blumenthal April 25, 1993.   Ruth was a retired social caseworker  having worked for over 30 years in Child Welfare in New York City.  A graduate with a  Masters  Degree in Social Work  from  Columbia University,
School of Social Work (1947).  Ruth was a member of The United Methodist Church  (Lexington-West Kill), a member of The WAJPL  Golden Ages Club  as well as a member of The National Association  of Social Workers.
Ruth is survived by her nephews Allen Blumenthal and his wife Charlesetta and  Gary Blumenthal and his wife Jamie and their children Matt and  Raina.  Services will be held on Saturday August 17th  at 11:00 AM  at the
United  Methodist Church in Lexington.
Internment will follow at the West Kill Cemetery.
