Velma C. (Christian) Huggans aged 94 years old of Margaretville, passed away on February 25th at the Mountainside Residential Center in Margaretville, NY. She was born on February 1, 1924 to the late Claude and Daisy (Layman) Christian in Ashland, NY.
Survivors include her son, James (Betty) Huggans of West Kill, NY., 4 Grandchildren; Emily CRoxford, Jeff (Marcie) Toot, Cherylyn Huggans, Nate (Kate) Huggans; 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Huggans was pre-deceased by her husband, Howard in 2000.
Calling hours will be at the Aston Basagic Funeral Home, 7742 Main St. Hunter, NY. from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, on Monday March 5, 2018. Services at 2:00 PM at the funeral home, Internment will follow at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Ashland, NY.
