Peter was born in Manhattan on December 12, 1929 to Anita Matteucci Manfredi and Antonio Manfredi. He passed away on August 25, 2020 at the age of 90 at home. In one of the proudest moments of his life he joined the US Marine Corps on June 18 1948 serving honorably until the 17th of June 1952.

He married his wife of almost 50 years, Ellen, on April 18, 1971. Pete was most proud of his family and their accomplishments. Great grandchildren Jaxon and Francesca Frack.
He also dearly loved his sister-in-law Inez Romano and nieces Danielle Cook (Shawn), Donna Spatola (Paul) Brandi Van Guilder (Cody) Hailey and Zach Cook, John and Lindsey Romano and Rocco Spatola.
Pete’s service in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict shaped the paths his life would take. He was a member of the Tannersville Fire Dept and the Tannersville Rescue Squad where he served a stint as Captain of the Squad. He was also a member of the American Legion, the Marine Corps League, and was a 45 year Master Mason and a member of Mt Lodge No 529. Most of Pete’s life was spent as a business man. Operating Pete’s Place during the 70’s was a highlight of his life and many life long friends were made during that time. Times spent with Pete are remembered with love and laughter.
