Mary L. Truesdell

Mary L. Truesdell, 82, passed away on Sunday, December 26th, 2021 at her home on route 296 in the town of Hunter, NY from Covid related complications.

Born April, 29th, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn Benjamin. 
Mary worked as a line cook for Hunter Mountain for many years before retiring at the age of 65.

Survivors include her sister, Francis Hollister of Hunter, NY, Three daughters, Margaret Partridge (Kevin) of Ashland, NY, Tina Meeker, and Ann Merwin (Kenneth), both from Hunter, NY, and one son, Gleason Truesdell 3rd. (Joan), also from Hunter, As well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Mary also has another son William Kohler Jr. who passed away a few hours after she did, on his way to her rescue.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 6th, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the Aston- Basagic funeral home, 7742 Main Street in Hunter, NY 12442.

Burial will take place on January 7th, 2022 at 11 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery, Route 23A in the town of Hunter.
