Linda L Schiele, 70 years, of Elka Park, NY passed away on October 25, 2018 at Northern Dutchess Healthcare in Rhinebeck, NY. She was born on September 14, 1948 to the late Belmont and Mildred (Clayton) Bates, in Neptune, NJ.
Survivors include one son, James M. (Jessie) Schiele Jr., two brothers; Reggie (Donna) Bates, Craig (Barbara) Bates, three grandchildren, two nieces, and one nephew.
Calling hours will be Friday November 2, 2018, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Aston Basagic Funeral Home, Main St. Hunter. Graveside funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday November 3, 2018 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Tannersville, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Diabetes Association.

I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Recently I lost my dear
mother, and within 30 days I also lost my mother-in-law. What
helped us during this time period was the comfort from the
Holy Bible, like at Isaiah 25 verse 8 - "The Sovereign Lord will
swallow up death forever, and wipe away the tears from all
faces." Also at Revelation 21 verse 4 we find God's promise
to remove both pain and death. For more comfort, I turn to
