Leslie O. Risley, born February 15, 1965, died unexpectedly and tragically Thursday, July 23, 2020. Les, whom was very popular and well loved by family and friends, left behind a grieving partner and companion, Diana Sulaitis of Parkridge, NJ. He left behind his brothers Charles, Edward, Kerry, Ford, and a twin Lindsay, sisters, Marsha Stevenson and Robin Abendroth. Les also left behind 6 dogs, 5 of which were rescued, and a horse named Radar. Les left behind many nieces and nephews, too many to mention.
Les was predeceased by his parents, Helen and Melvin Risley, and a sister Patricia Thompson. Les went to school at Hunter-Tannersville and college at Columbia-Greene. He worked most of his life as a private independent contractor. In his early adult life he worked many different jobs as a cook, drove a taxi, even was an appliance technician before attacking his ream of being self-employed. Les loved helping people in need, even when it wasn't asked for. He was an animal lover; he rescued dogs, and had several horses over the years. He was even Santa for the rescue center. There is no memorial service scheduled yet, just a private family funeral.
